Chanel Allure Eau De Toilette was launched in 1996 and created by master perfumer Jacques Polge. A timeless floral-oriental fragrance, it was designed to embody the many facets of feminine allure—fresh, sensual, and elegant. Compared to the richer Allure Eau De Parfum, the Eau De Toilette is lighter and more radiant, making it versatile for everyday wear while still carrying Chanel’s unmistakable sophistication.
The opening is bright and sparkling, featuring mandarin, peach, lemon, and bergamot. These citrus and fruity notes create an immediate sense of freshness and vitality, uplifting the spirit and setting a lively tone. The mandarin and peach lend soft sweetness, while lemon and bergamot provide crisp zest for balance.
At the heart, a bouquet of rose, jasmine, water lily, magnolia, freesia, and honeysuckle blooms in layered harmony. Each floral note contributes its own character: rose adds romance, jasmine imparts sensuality, magnolia and water lily bring luminous freshness, while freesia and honeysuckle enhance the fragrance with airy sweetness. The result is a radiant and multidimensional floral core.
The base of vanilla, sandalwood, and vetiver gives warmth and depth to the fragrance. Vanilla provides a creamy, sensual sweetness, sandalwood offers smooth, woody richness, and vetiver adds a subtle earthy undertone. Together, they create a refined dry down that lingers gracefully on the skin.
