Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum was launched in 2017 as the debut fragrance under creative director Alessandro Michele and was composed by master perfumer Alberto Morillas. It is a floral fragrance through and through—lush, radiant, and unapologetically feminine. Designed to evoke the atmosphere of a thriving garden in full bloom, this scent celebrates authenticity, natural beauty, and the diversity of modern womanhood.
The fragrance opens with the distinctive note of Rangoon creeper, a rare flower discovered in South India. It brings a subtle sweetness and powdery floralcy that is both fresh and romantic. This note sets the tone for a fragrance that is not sparkling or citrusy, but deeply floral and enveloping from the outset.
At the heart lies natural tuberose, rich and creamy with a narcotic white floral intensity. It adds depth and warmth, giving the fragrance its signature character—intoxicating and opulent. The tuberose note is prominent and continuous, anchoring the entire composition in its velvety bloom.
The base is centered around jasmine bud extract, which complements the tuberose with a fresh, green floral layer. This jasmine is light yet present, adding airiness and lift to the otherwise dense bouquet. The result is a smooth and lingering floral trail that feels both classic and contemporary.
